The Ristorante "Al Colombo" represents one of the most traditional and classic meeting points of the old and new Venice.

Typically crowded with artists, being wonderfully placed right behind the Teatro Goldoni, the main theater in Venice after La Fenice went in ashes.

The "Al Colombo" is still today the high point for lots of artistic and cultural life in town. You can meet there Ornella Muti, Dario Fo, Gigi Proietti, Piera degli Esposti, Patty Pravo, Aldo Busi, Debora Caprioglio, Bruno Tosi, Alberto Casari and many others. That's the people I met there anyway ...

The place in itself is beautifully decorated with paintings and drawings, almost all of them by internationally renown artists.
Not cheap, but the food!
