In Yellowstone we already had some
glimpse of the approaching Fall. So a good look at the weather channel can help to get the idea of how it would be the day. Hot. Hot and dry. Heading South to Utah, that's it.

One of our favorite pastimes has lately been the search of every possible vital item: from wallets to cameras, to keys. Today it was "KEYS DAY", and every possible key was lost and finally found.

ON THE ROAD TO SALT LAKE CITY.
The town is surrounded by mountains, the Great Salt Lake is close, but it did not raise our interest too much. I mean, OK, it's neat, salty water, and so what?

I happened to live for a year in Salt Lake, several years ago, but I have to say that the city never raised my interest too much. Clean and neat, nice architecture, well organized, but too industrial and
tasteless. And too involved in its own religion, too.

If you hope to have a wild night in SLC, just forget about it. And if it is Sunday night, or Labor Day's Weekend last day, dream on. All it's closed, Mormons have no fun, apparently, busy people dedicated
to work and family.
But a hungry voyager who needs to satisfy his insane desires of a full stomach, at 10:00 PM, may find it hard to find a place open.
Luckily a Wendy's that was almost closing down still had some eatable stuff. A wild night awaits for us. Right after a hamburger, back
